If you bring your bid to MLGW, please allow 30 minutes before 4:00 PM CDT/CST for MLGW security clearance and delivery of bids to the Contracts Management Department. The official time of receipt will be established in the Contracts Management Department and not at the main floor security desk. The project scope is to remove and demolish the existing roof and install a new roofing system at MLGW's Mallory Pumping Station, Filter Building, located at 488 North Dunlap Street, Memphis, TN 38104. The successful Contractor shall include all labor, material, equipment, and insurance to complete the work as depicted in strict accordance as outlined in the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings. Written Inquiries: Questions about this Sealed Bid must be submitted to MLGW in writing via email to tyates@mlgw.org with "Contract No. 12558 - Written Inquiry" in the subject line by no later than 4:00 PM CST on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by Title 62, Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated. The following information must be completed on the outside of the preprinted Bidder's Envelope: Bidder's name, Bidder's license number, expiration date, Bidder's Contractor Classification, and that part of the classification applying to the bid (e.g., electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning). If the preceding information is not complete, the bid shall not be opened or considered by MLGW. The Tennessee Contractor's Classification required for this project shall be one of the following or any Tennessee-approved contractor's license applicable to this project: BC or BC-21. If a State of Tennessee Contractor's license is required, the Contractor's license monetary limits must meet or exceed the Contractor's bid price. Bidder Qualifications: Qualifications (pages BB-30 through BB-32) are due on or before Tuesday, July 1, 2025, by Noon CST via email to TaShay Yates, tyates@mlgw.org, only. The Bidder's Qualifications must be submitted by reference letter as listed in the Bidder's Qualifications. The Bidder's Qualifications must indicate Contract Number 12558 and the title on the front page of the Bidder's Qualifications. *Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Only hard copies of the bidding documents will be accepted. * Before the execution of this Contract, the successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the bid price or such lesser amount as determined at the sole discretion of MLGW. The bond shall be made upon the form in this packet and shall be made a part of the Contract. The Surety Company shall be acceptable to MLGW. Before the execution of the contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish, according to the Tennessee Code Annotated 12-4-201, a Contractor's Labor and Materials Payment Bond in a determined sum of no less than 25% of the bid price. The bond shall be made upon the form provided by MLGW in this packet and shall be made part of the Contract Documents. Such a surety shall be acceptable to MLGW. No bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 120 days after the date and hour set for the opening of bids. MLGW reserves the right to reject bids, to waive Minor Irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or portion of the bid, which MLGW, in MLGW's sole discretion, deems most favorable to the interest of MLGW.
