Pavement marking project (Citywide street netwide and Iowa DOT highway system Dubuque, Iowa) Location: Citywide street network and Iowa DOT highway system The scope of the project is as follows: Furnish, install, maintain, and remove permanent pavement markings to include Lines and Symbols and Legends on City of Dubuque streets as directed by the City Engineer. Also, to include portions of Iowa DOT highway pavement markings as directed by the City Engineer. Work on the Project must be commenced within ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed has been issued and shall be fully completed by November 14, 2025. Each Bidder must accompany its Bid with a Bid security as security that the successful Bidder will enter into a contract for the work Bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety Bond, acceptable to the governmental entity, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The Bid security must be in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the contract and must be in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state-chartered or federally chartered credit union, or the Bidder may provide a Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the governmental entity. The Bid Bond must contain no conditions except as provided in this section. The City of Dubuque, Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Targeted Small Businesses (TSB) Affirmative Action Responsibilities for Non-federal aid Projects are not applicable and will NOT be in effect for this Project. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Policy Requirements are not applicable and will NOT be in effect for this Project
