* That the Town of Pilot Butte proceed with awarding the Contract for the Fifth Avenue 2025 Street Improvements to Firm A, for the tendered amount of $599,185.00 (plus taxes). Sealed Tenders are invited from Contractors for the construction of Fifth Avenue 2025 Street , Improvements for the Town of Pilot Butte. The work includes: .1 Roadway removal, reshaping and replacement of approx. 330 lin.m. along the west side of Fifth Avenue, including removal of existing asphalt surface course and granular structure, as well as replacement with new granular structure and asphalt surface course; .2 Provision of roads for ingress and egress to the locations of all work required. .3 Clean-up of site. .4 Repair of defects for one year after completion of the work. General Contractors may obtain a digital copy of the Contract Documents from the office of the Consulting Engineers. Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Tendered Amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest tender.
