Renovation of a mixed-use development in Warren, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

The project consists, but is not limited to, the following items: A. All labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the following: 1. Removal and replacement of existing asphalt shingle roofing. 2. Removal and infill with masonry at existing man door. 3. Removal and replacement of existing OH door. 4. Repair of existing roof trusses. 5. Addition of densifier/sealer on existing concrete slab. 6. Removal and replacement of existing deteriorated wood, trim, sheathing and T-11 siding. 7. Coating of all surfaces with a silicone elastomeric coating. 8. Installation of new concrete 'deadmen' concrete inertia blocks with turnbuckle type supports. 9. Restoration of concrete and masonry surfaces (healer sealer and tuckpointing). Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or a satisfactory Surety Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid price as guaranty. No bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty. Checks shall be made payable to Warren Consolidated Schools. Such cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders for each contract within five (5) days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks, or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidders have executed the Contract, or if no award has been made, within thirty (30) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid. Proposals for base bids may not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time established for the receipt of proposals. Bidders may withdraw at any item prior to the time set for the receipt of proposals. The right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities and/or irregularities in bid proposals submitted during the bidding process is reserved by the Owner, which right may be exercised at the sole discretion of the Owner.
