If you have any technical questions related to your submission, please contact Bonfire at online Louisville Parks and Recreation is requesting bids for the renovation of the existing asphalt tennis courts at Chickasaw Park, 1200 Southwestern Parkway, Louisville Kentucky 40211. This project includes but not limited to: all necessary site work, tennis court renovation, fencing alterations, walkways, utilities, site amenities and grading and drainage as shown on the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, all labor, tools, supplies and equipment to complete the work in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and/or Addenda pertaining to the construction of six (6) all-weather sport courts and including the sport court base, asphalt leveling and asphalt surface courses, net post, center anchor, and sport court net installations, acrylic resurfacer applications, acrylic color coat applications, and installation of the sport court playing lines. B. MATERIALS All materials shall be new and of first quality, excepting where specified in the Plans, Specifications and/or Addenda. 1. Crushed limestone stone base of pugged dense grade aggregate (DGA). 2. KYTC No. #3 stone. 3. Leveling course (asphalt base) of binder asphalt mix. 4. Surface course of Class I asphalt mix. 5. Acrylic resurfacer per manufacturer's (such as Sealmaster Industries, Inc. or Latex-ite) specifications or approved equal. 6. Acrylic paint courses per manufacturer's (such as Sealmaster Industries, Inc. or Latexite) specifications or approved equal. Playing surface shall be Blue (such as Sealmaster Blue, Latex-ite U.S. Blue, or approved equal). Outside court area shall be Green (such as Sealmaster Forest Green, Latex-ite U.S. Green, or approved equal). 7. Painted white sport court playing lines per "Sportmaster" specifications or approved equal. 8. Sport court net center stainless steel anchor to tie down the center of the net. 9. Sport court nets to be double mesh with vinyl headband or approved equal. NOTE: PRECEDENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE GENERAL PROVISIONS SHOULD ANY PORTION OF THESE GENERAL CONDITIONS CONFLICT.
