Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Jackson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
2 Bridge Replacements Replace a single span bridge on Beaver Pike (C-76) at the 0.71 mile marker and a single span bridge on Bucklick Road (T-297) at the 0.16 mile marker. The proposed structures are to be single span bridges with minimal roadway improvement work. Proposals must contain the name and address of every person interested therein and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of bid; or in lieu of the bid guaranty and contract bond the bidder may submit a bid guaranty as provided by Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the form of a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders are required to be PRE-QUALIFIED WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION to submit a bid for this project. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Jackson County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, 614.644.2239. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
