As of November 5, 2025. Bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. In general, the work under this project involves various spot-repairs on seven county-owned bridges. The work includes removing deteriorated concrete from portions of abutments, piers, decks, and other elements as shown on the plans, and replacing those portions with new concrete as specified. Project Award: November 17, 2025 Questions Due Date: Oct 23rd 2025, 10:00 AM CDT PROJECT COMPLETION: All work under this Contract shall be completed by November 30, 2026. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the work in accordance with the date(s) set forth above shall be Nine Hundred Fourty-Five dollars ($945.00) for each calendar day in excess thereof. BID SECURITY: Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price, payable to Walworth County, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract documents within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract documents, the bid bond shall be forfeited to Walworth County as liquidated damages.
