Project scope includes but is not limited to construction of approximately 78,000 gross square feet of academic and administrative spaces within a new student housing complex with multiple buildings that will provide approximately 2,000-2,500 beds. The complex will replace the nine existing buildings for three student housing complexes including the Irish, Best and Hayden buildings. The 4.7-acre site is located at the northeast corner of Apache Boulevard and Fores The project is included in the State's 2027-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 8, 2026, information regarding the architect and timeline for general contractor bidding have not been disclosed. Demolition is currently underway. Construction is anticipated to begin October or November 2026. Phase I completion anticipated August 2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
