Description

Renovation of a road / highway in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a road / highway.

This project includes approximately 580 linear feet of roadway construction on 5th Street, including rough grading, underground utilities, pavement, curb & gutter, and sidewalk; and approximately 640 linear feet of pavement widening on North B Street. Work also includes construction of retaining wall (approximately 170 LF) on the west side of 5th Street and construction of signalized intersection at 5th Street and North B Street. The work is primarily located on private property which is currently access-controlled. A site inspection time will be provided by the Owner following distribution of the bid package. The Contractor shall review the site conditions and anticipate reasonable requirements that would typically be placed on the Contractor when working on or adjacent to private property, such as cleanliness, public safety, railroad safety, public convenience, access protection of existing improvements, maintaining existing services.
