The Town of Smithers (the "Town") is seeking to undertake improvements to enhance safety of airport operations at the Smithers Regional Airport. As part of this work, the Town is proposing an upgrade of its airfield lighting systems to ensure the continued long-term safety and reliability of the airfield. The work to be executed under this contract comprises the following contract items (list is indicative of major contract items only and any quantities are approximate): Trenching - 6,500m Direct Buried Conduit - 8,500m Directionally Drilled Conduit - 450m Airfield Series Lighting Cable - 11,800m Direct Buried TECK Cable - 320m Pullpits - 150 total LED Airfield Signs - 10 total Wind Direction Indicators - 2 total MI LED RWY Edgelight - 108 total MI LED TWY Edgelight - 66 total MI LED Apron Junction Edgelight - 4 sets ODALS Lights & Power Converter Box - 14 total Isolating Transformers - 206 total Constant Current Regulators 1 total Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
