Question Deadline 08/19/2025 All questions, regarding, clarifications, omissions, discrepancies or otherwise, shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be received at least ten (10) days (weekends and holidays excepted) before the established date for bid opening. The Scope of Work Contemplated for the Abovenamed Project Includes the Refurbishment of Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority's 2 Million-gallon (Mg) Hydropillar Tank Including Tank Access and Safety Improvements, Existing Coating Removal and Recoating of the Interior and Exterior Walls, Installation of a New Mixing System, Fence Replacement and Other Miscellaneous Improvements, as Well as All Other Work of Any Type or Description Necessary for Contemplation of the Project, Whether or Not Specifically Described in These Contract Documents. All Work on This Contract Shall Be Completed Within 180 Calendar Days From Notice to Proceed. Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority Intends to Award This Project to the Lowest Responsible Whose Bid Packet is Responsive and Complies With Its Requirements for the Project, Provided That in the Judgement of the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority is Reasonable, Within Available Funds and in the Interest of the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority. The Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bid Packets to the Extent Permitted by Law. An Award Will Be Made or Bid Packets Will Be Rejected Within Sixty (60) Calendar Days After the Opening of the Bid Packets, During Which Time the Bid Packets Shall Be Irrevocable and Unavailable to Withdraw by Bidders, Unless Otherwise Extended in the Contract Documents. Contractor Must Award Not Less Than 10% of the Costs for Construction, Materials, or Services to Small Business Concerns Owned and Controlled by Seds and Must Comply With the Project Plan Developed by the Owner Fulfilling Sed Utilization. All Applicable Surety Bonds Required in Connection With the Advertisement and Award of Building Contracts or Sub Agreements Must Be Written by a Surety Company Listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570 - Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds), Incorporated Herein by Reference. Copies of This Document May Be Obtained From the Department. This Contract or Subcontract is Expected to Be Funded in Part With Funds From the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust. Also, Bid Packets Must Be Accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety From a Surety Company Holding a Certificate of Authorization to Do Business in the State of New Jersey and Either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check Drawn to the Order of Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority for Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price Amount, Except That the Check Shall Not Exceed $20,000.00. The Successful Bidder is Hereby Notified That a Performance and Payment Bonds for the Full Amount of This Project is Required.
