The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications for the redevelopment of Well No. 5, the removal and inspection of the well pump, pump repairs, redevelopment by chemical and mechanical means, and return of the well to service. Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashiers Check drawn to the order of the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All other bid securities will be returned within three days after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractors Performance Bond, Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays excepted. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders who, in the judgment of the Evesham Municipal Utilities Authority is the lowest responsible bidder and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 1. Removal of existing Well No. 5 motor, pump, shaft column, and other related pumping equipment 2. Mechanical and chemical cleaning ofwell and pumping equipment 3. Repair and reinstallation ofpump assembly and discharge piping 4. Performance ofthree (3) pumping tests and preparation oftest report 5. Laboratory analysis ofwell water.
