Site work for a water / sewer project in Savannah, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Savannah has established a 20% DBE goal for this project of which at least half (10%) should be met by a Local DBE. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform work in installing a new roof (including demolition of the old roof), repairs to the brick façade (including but not limited to repointing mortar, cleaning, and replacement of brick), window replacement, selective exterior painting, and minor electrical work in moving light fixtures. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashiers check in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. Payment and performance bonds may be waived for a contract under $100,000. The bid bond for this contract will not be waived. The City of Savannah has established a 20% DBE goal for this project of which at least half (10%) should be met by a Local DBE. A good faith effort must be made to achieve both goals. The City of Savannah reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding
