The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors capable of performing construction, repair, and maintenance work at Dredged Material Containment Areas (DMCAs), Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Injection Facilities, and the Coastal Projects Office. The anticipated work includes dike construction and maintenance, road and access improvements, stormwater and drainage system installation and rehabilitation, erosion control and shoreline stabilization, marine infrastructure work, vegetation and tree removal, sump excavation, grading and material placement, repair or replacement of various site features, debris removal and disposal, seeding and herbicide/pesticide application, surveying, and installation of temporary erosion and sediment controls. Task orders may be issued under Design-Build (DB) or Design-Bid-Build (DBB) delivery methods. The contract is expected to be a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a five-year period of performance. Location: Savannah Harbor (Disposal Areas 1N, 2A, 12A, 13A, 13B, 14A, 14B, Jones/Oysterbed Island, bird nesting islands), Brunswick Harbor (Andrews Island), Up River DO Injection Facility at Plant McIntosh in Rincon, GA, Down River DO Injection Facility and Coastal Projects Office on Hutchinson Island in Savannah, GA.
