Generators, Portable and Stationary, Including Parts and Accessories Maintenance and Repair The University of Georgia (UGA) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the replacement of the generator at the Skidaway Institute in Savannah, Georgia per the attached specifications. The scope includes the purchase of a new generator, removal of the old generator and installation of the new generator. The awarded vendor will be responsible for delivery and installation of the new generator, and demolition/removal of the old generator. All work must be completed on site within 14 weeks of PO issuance following the close of the bid. The order will be subject to cancellation at UGA's discretion if this timeline is not met. Section includes: a) Packaged engine generator set b) Heat exchanger c) Exhaust silencer and fittings d) Fuel tank e) Remote control panel f) Battery and charger g) Weatherproof enclosure Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), the University of Georgia is issuing this Invitation to Bid to accept bids for UGA SKIO Generator replacement, per the attached Bid Specifications. Pricing must include all applicable costs for products or services, including any applicable shipping charges FOB Destination to Savannah, GA, and all other requirements as outlined in the Specifications. All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Office via the Questions function on this solicitation. Prospective bidders should only contact the University of Georgia Procurement Office regarding this solicitation. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, for the successful completion of the aforementioned project. This solicitation is to establish an agency contract for the University of Georgia. The initial term of the contract and any renewal options shall be in accordance with the Agency Contract Cover Sheet. The primary intent of this RFQ is to identify a single source (lowest priced, responsive and responsible supplier) to provide all of the needed goods and/or services; however, the University of Georgia reserves the right to make split awards.
