The work to be bid on is generally as follows: The project generally consists of the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor for the installation of approximately 9,000 linear feet of new 24" diameter gravity sewer and 40 new manholes. The project will also include all erosion control, excavation, grading, traffic control, and testing necessary to complete the work. Contractor must submit certification to the Engineer at least five days before the opening of bids in accordance with requirements of Section "Sanitary Sewer (Gravity)". The allotted time for construction is 270 calendar days. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening date. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. All questions regarding this project, during bid and construction, shall be issued to the Engineer in writing. Questions not issued in writing shall not be considered. If any person contemplating submitting a Bid for construction of the Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Bidding Documents, or finds conflicts or discrepancies in any part of the Bidding Documents, he may submit to the Engineer a written request for interpretation. 2.
