Generally, the Work includes but is not necessarily limited to 1. The site of the court renovation has been prepared by others. Existing courts pavement demolition, fencing, adjacent tree removal and removing existing light poles has been completed. See drawings. 2. The Work includes preparation of base materials. Contractor is responsible for rough grading, touch up, compaction and preparation of remaining subgrade, as well and required trimming/ excavation at the court perimeter and all full depth gravel base fill up from that point. Scope includes one tennis/pickleball court, two street hockey courts and a basketball court, all on an asphalt paved base, with perimeter chain link fencing. Amenities include tennis posts and nets, portable hockey goals, new fencing, new asphalt walks, perimeter grading, and amenities. The work under this contract will include all equipment, labor, material, supplies, etc. necessary to furnish the work described in this contract. Work includes the labor, equipment, materials, and furnishings necessary to install a multi-sport court complex at the McCarthy Middle School, located at 250 North Road, Chelmsford, MA. This previously included 6 tennis courts that have been removed by the Town. This area includes the installation of 2 basketball courts, 2 deck hockey courts, and a tennis and pickleball court area. The entire area will be fenced in. A sitting area adjacent to the courts and an ADA accessible sidewalk connecting to the police station is included in the project. Site landscaping is included in the project.
