Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted to electronic by 8/05/25 @ 10:00 A.M. for general bids. Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Project shall consist of, but not limited to: o Remove and reconstruct bituminous sidewalk. Minimum 8" base material, minimum 3.5" asphalt (binder and top). 95% compaction. o Remove and reconstruct bituminous parking lot. Minimum 12" base material, minimum 3.5" asphalt (binder and top). 95% compaction. o Cleanly sawcut. o Crack fill and seal all asphalt joints and seams between old and new asphalt. o Remove earth. o Regrade areas within limit of work. o Loam and hydroseed all bare and disturbed areas. o Install silt sack and erosion control measures. o Install silt fence. o Remove existing sign poles and footings. o Salvage existing signs. o Install new sign poles, concrete footings. Install signs to new poles. o Install crushed stone and filter fabric. o Protect trees and vegetation to remain. o Adjust all utility covers and grates to finished grade. o Use caution around existing utilities. Record plans available upon request. o Pavement markings. Minimum two coats of paint. o Loam & hydroseed all disturbed areas. o Regrade lawn, as needed. Max 3:1 slope. o All utility covers shall be set to finish grade in newly reconstructed asphalt areas. o Reconstructed asphalt shall be maximum 4.5% running slope and minimum 1.5% cross slope. o All roots, debris, stones, rocks shall be removed under new asphalt. o Conform to all MAAB, ADA, State, Local, Federal requirements and regulations. o Provide safe and accessible site access at all times. o Contractor responsible for all traffic and safety elements throughout construction. Completion- 45 consecutive calendar days.
