Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood Inc. The City of Jasper, Georgia will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the "Sewer System Rehabilitation". This includes approximately 49,036 LF of 8" to 12" Cleaning and CCTV, 3,400 LF of 8" to 12" CIPP, 1,200 LF Sewer Point Repairs, 245 Manhole Inspections, 25+/- Manhole Rehabilitations and Alternate Bid for 13 Mission M150 SCADA units, with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. Bids shall be based on Unit Price Items. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 270 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed of the contract. Each BIDDER must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00200 "INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS." No BIDDER may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date of Bid opening. This contract is GEFA funded. The Contractor must comply with: DBE, MBE, WBE & EEO compliance; Davis Bacon and Related Acts; and Wage Rate Determination. The City of Jasper reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities, or to reject any or all bids and to readvertise. A. Measurement of an item of work will be by the unit indicated in the Bid Form. B. Final payment quantities shall be determined from the record drawings. The record drawing lengths, dimensions, quantities, etc. shall be determined by a survey after the completion of all required work. Said survey shall conform to Section 01780 of these Specifications. The precision of final payment quantities shall match the precision shown for that item in the Bid. Before any "Estimated Quantity" listed in the bid form is exceeded, theContractorshallrequest in writing to the Owner andEngineerreason(s) for additional quantities. No paymentshall be made/authorized without prior approval from the Owner and Engineer for exceeding any bid proposal estimated quantity. C. Payment will include all necessary and incidental related work not specified to be included in any other item of work listed in the Bid. A. Extent of demolition work is indicated on the Construction Plans. B. Demolition includes all operations necessary for demolition of the existing structures, foundations and utilities as shown. C. Remove debris, rubbish and other materials resulting from demolition operations from the site. Transport and legally dispose of materials off site. A. The work required by the project shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and performing all work necessary to rehabilitate the gravity sewer lines. The work shall consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, performing the following work tasks: 1. Sewer line cleaning 2. Sewer flow control 3. Closed circuit television inspection 4. Cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation 5. Lateral reinstatement
