The total extent of repairs that are required to restore the system to full functionality is to be determined by the contractor. Required work may include replacing the components such as the combustion heat exchanger, compressor, filter drier, contactors, float switches, etc. The work may also include reclaiming refrigerant, flushing the system, replacing the condenser and cleaning the evaporator coils, leak testing the system, starting up and testing the system, etc. Installation of all equipment is to match the configuration of the existing equipment as closely as possible (location, routing of lines, connections for thermostats, etc.). Contractor shall furnish and install all equipment, refrigerant, etc. as necessary for the completion of this project. Contractor is to remove and dispose of/recycle all old equipment associated with this project. Disposal of any hazardous waste, excess refrigerant, etc. associated with this project is the responsibility of the contractor. All work shall be executed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws & regulations. Start up and verification of operations of the HVAC systems is required.
