The National Park Service (NPS) owns and operates Kings Mountain National Military Park located at 2625 Park Rd, Blacksburg, SC, within Cherokee and York Counties. The park was established to commemorate the October 7th, 1780, patriot victory at King's Mountain in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. This project will mitigate hazardous conditions, preserve the cultural/historic landscape, and improve site aesthetics through pruning and removing trees and woody vegetation along roadsides, within trail corridors, in landscapes, and near NPS owned facilities. This is a firm, fixed price contract, with all work to be complete within 9 calendar months after the notice to proceed is issued. Project Description: o Remove 144 (one hundred forty four) standing (or partially standing) trees. o Prune 32 (thirty two) trees to promote overall health, vigor, and mitigate hazards. The purpose of this amendment is to issue responses to questions received in response to the solicitation. Questions and answers are provided as attachment 0008. Period of Performance: 06/09/2025 to 02/09/2026
