Site Work & Building Demolition at 48 Wareham Street. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete building demolition, paving, site grading, and riverfront restoration and all work incidental thereto. Bidders must comply with the wage rates and weekly payroll submittals required by the Prevailing Wage Law. bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. A performance bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total amount of the contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required for the faithful performance of the contract, as well as a labor and materials bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total contract price. The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete building demolition, paving, site grading, and riverfront restoration and all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the Specifications and conceptual plans attached hereto. The Project has an estimated contract value of $700,000. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner or its Architect/Engineer, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item shall not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item.
