Renovation of a civil project in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work includes the trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 10,046 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipelines ranging in size from 8" to 24" diameter AND approximately 120 linear feet for storm sewer pipelines ranging in size from 10" to 12". PREQUALIFICATION APPLICATION DUE (2:00 P.M.) 6/12/2025 Submission of qualifications shall be made to the Project Engineer on or before June 12, 2025 at 2:00pm. The Engineer shall then respond to the Contractor accepting or denying qualifications and eligibility to bid on the project by June 16, 2025. No submittals received after June 12 shall be considered. The contact information for the Project Engineer SBE GOAL 3% This contract shall include the trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 10,046 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipelines ranging in size from 8" to 24" diameter AND approximately 120 linear feet for storm sewer pipelines ranging in size from 10" to 12". The trenchless rehabilitation will be accomplished using an Ultraviolet light cure CIPP system except for one location where a thermal cure (i.e. steam cure or circulating heated water cure) CIPP system may be utilized. Rehabilitation of the sewer shall be without excavation by the installation of a resin-impregnated flexible tube which, when cured, shall be continuous and tight fitting throughout the entire length of the original pipe. The CIPP shall extend the full length of the original pipe and provide a structurally sound, jointless and watertight new pipe within a pipe. All service connections to buildings shall be reinstated without excavation, utilizing a remote-controlled cutting device, monitored by a video TV camera. The Contractor is responsible for proper, accurate and complete installation of the CIPP using the system selected by the Contractor and approved by the Engineer. Neither the CIPP system nor its installation shall cause adverse effects to any of the City of Madison's processes or facilities. The use of the product shall not result in the formation or production of any detrimental compounds or by-products at the wastewater treatment plant. The Contractor shall cleanup, restore existing surface conditions and structures, and repair any of the CIPP system determined to be defective. The Contractor shall conduct installation operations and schedule cleanup in a manner to cause the least possible obstruction and inconvenience to traffic, pedestrians, businesses, and property owners or tenants. The specific pipe sections that are included in the scope of this contract are identified in the Detailed Lining List shown on the accompanying plan set. This section is a required document for the bid to be considered complete. These are the choices for meeting the bid bond requirement. One: The bid bond can be submitted in the form of a certified check. Two: Bid bond (City of Madison form). Three: Biennial bid bond on file with the City of Madison.
