Dane County is inviting Bids for construction services to provide a structural steel canopy to provide shade for the seal exhibit at the Henry Vilas Zoo. Bidders Must Be Qualified as Best Value Contractor Before Bid Due Date/time. Complete Application at Publicworks.danecounty.gov/bvc or Call 608/267-0119. The project will provide two steel canopies over each of the existing seal pond exhibits. Work will be conducted during open zoo hours. Close coordination with zoo employees and visiting public is required. Question Submission Deadline:June 27, 2025, 10:00am All inquiries related to this Request for Bids (RFB) must now be submitted electronically through Dane Countys eProcurement Portal. Emerging Small Business (ESB) Goal. The goal of this project is ten percent (10%) ESB participation. ESBs utilizations are shown as a percentage of the total Bid.
