The intent of this project is to reduce noise transmission while maintaining the functionality of the windows for ventilation. The intent of this project is to reduce noise transmission while maintaining the functionality of the windows for ventilation. 2. Project Overview: Total Number of Windows: 9 o City Clerk's Office: 4 windows o Legal Department Office: 5 windows 3. Window Requirements: o Windows are to be installed on the interior side of the existing windows. o All new windows must be removable, functioning similarly to interior storm windows. o The window design must be double-hung, allowing for both the upper and lower sashes to open for ventilation. o Each window must be custom-fabricated to fit the existing openings, with approximate dimensions of 5 feet 5 inches wide by 7 feet 6 inches high (5'5" W x 7'6" H). o Windows must be designed and installed to effectively reduce exterior noise and fit securely while still being easy to remove and reinstall for maintenance.
