This project will repair/replace deteriorated curb and gutter located between SW 6th & SW 10th St - High Ave & Frazier Ave. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: Combined Curb & Gutter (type varies) 2,360.00 L.F 6" Concrete for approach transitions 840.00 S.F Aggregate Base - Type AB-3 100.00 Ton All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be provided to the office of Contracts and Procurement before the 2:00 closing date. All persons seeking to enter into a contract with the City shall submit an acceptable affirmative action program in accordance with Section 3.30.460 of the Code of the City of Topeka, Kansas. Bidders shall take note of requirements for notification of MBE's and WBE's as stated in paragraph 24 of Document 100: Instruction to Bidders and Document 840: Notification of Available Subcontract Work.
