Alternate Bid No. 1 - Electrical Primary Work: Approximately 14500 Ft of No. 8 5KV L-824 Type C Cable installed in Trench, Duct bank or Conduit, 10300 Ft of No. 6 AWG Solid Bare Copper Counterpoise Wire installed in Trench above the Duct Bank or Conduit Including Connections/Ground Rods/Terminations, 300 Ft Concrete Encased Electrical Duct Bank 2-Way 2-Inch, 14500 Ft Non-Encased Electrical Conduit 1-Way 2-Inch, 6 Each of Base Can Plaza (2 Cans), 110 Each of L-861T(L) Taxiway Edge Light on New Base Can, 38 Each of L-861T(L) on Existing Base Can, 8 Each L-858(L) Guidance Sign Size 1 2-Mod, 3 Each L-858(L) Guidance Sign Size 1 3-Mod, 1 LS Miscellaneous Lighting Equipment, 1 LS Locate and Protect Existing Equipment, 1 LS Remove Airfield Electrical Equipment, 1 LS Temporary Lighting, 2 Each of L-828 Constant Current Regulator 7.5 KW 3-Step 240V in place, and other items of related Construction. Alternate Bid No. 1 - Concrete Paving Primary Work: Approximately 20000 SqYd of 7" PCC Pavement, 31000 Ft of Silicone Joint Sealing Filler, 500 Ft of Silicone Joint Sealing Filler w/ Expansion Board, 1 LS of Pavement Markings (Concrete Surfacing), and other items of related Construction. Alternate Bid No. 2 - Asphalt Paving Primary Work: Approximately 1800 CuYd of Aggregate Base Course, 500 Ton of Asphalt Base / Surface Course, 350 Ton of Asphalt Binder (PG 64-34), 27 Ton of Emulsified Asphalt Prime Coat, 10 Ton of Emulsified Asphalt Tack Coat, 1 LS of Pavement Markings (Asphalt Surfacing), and other items of related construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, and drawn on a solvent State or National Bank, or a ten percent (10%) Bid Bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and payable to the City of Sturgis, South Dakota Separate Payment and Performance Bonds guaranteeing faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all labor, materials, rentals, etc., will be required for an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract. All bonds must be issued or co-signed by a licensed resident agent of South Dakota. This project shall include the construction of Parallel Taxiway A Electrical and connector taxiways. This work includes Asphalt/Base Removal, Grading, Geotextile Separator Fabric, Subbase Course, Aggregate Base Course, PCC Paving or Asphalt Base/Surface Course, Pavement Marking, Topsoil, Seeding and Fertilizing, Mulching, Electrical Duct and Conductors, Medium Intensity Taxiway Lighting, Airfield Signage, and other items of related construction.
