Notice Content CITY OF SHELBYVILLE NOTICE OF LETTING Sealed proposals will be received in the office of the City Clerk, 170 E Main St., Shelbyville, until 10:00 a.m., June 16, 2025 for section 15-00059-01-RS and at that time will be opened and publicly read. Project is located on S Morgan Street from S Second Street to Main Street and S First Street from S Morgan Street to Washington Street. Proposed improvements include HMA paving, HMA surface removal, pavement removal, storm sewers, removal and replacement of PCC sidewalk, concrete curb & gutter, PCC driveway pavement, decorative lighting and other work to complete the project. Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the City which may be obtained in the office of Chastain & Associates LLC, 5 N Country Club Road, Decatur, IL 62521 and shall be enclosed in an envelope endorsed "SECTION 15-00059-01-RS". The right is reserved to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities. Proposal guarantee will be required. Prequalification of bidders will be required. Not less than the prevailing rate of ages as determined by the public body of the Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under this contract.
