Replacement of Air Conditioning Units at City Hall INTRODUCTION The City of Dover, New Hampshire is requesting bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing air conditioning mini split systems and condenser unit located at City Hall. General information is as follows. Question Deadline 08/07/2025 at 2:00 PM ET: Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent k.cragin@dover.nh.gov no later than seven (7) business days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS This project entails the replacement of existing air conditioning mini-split systems and condenser unit at the Dover City Hall. The City prefers Mitsubishi as the product manufacturer for the new equipment, but will consider comparable brands. Work Included: Removal and disposal of the existing condenser unit, mini-split units, thermostats, condensate pump, and associated refrigerant lines. Supply and installation of a new Mitsubishi condenser unit sized appropriately for the spaces. Supply and installation of new Mitsubishi brand mini-split units in all designated locations within City Hall. Supply and installation of new high-pressure and low-pressure refrigerant lines, sized for the new Mitsubishi equipment. Supply and installation of new condensate drain lines with condensate pump, sized for the new equipment. Supply and installation of new digital thermostats compatible with the Mitsubishi mini-split units. Electrical wiring for the new equipment, in accordance with all applicable codes. Refrigerant leak detection and evacuation of the existing system (if applicable). System charging with new refrigerant according to manufacturer's specifications. Startup, commissioning, and testing of the new air conditioning system to ensure proper operation. Providing a minimum one-year warranty on all materials and labor. TIMELINE The task shall be completed by August 1, 2025. If unable to meet that date, please provide reasoning and timeline.
