AS OF JULY 17,2025 PROJECT WAS AWARDED TO Apel Machine & Supply Company. BUT AWARD AMOUNT IS NOT AVAILABLE. Sanitary Sewer System Expansion for Proposed Jack's Family Restaurant (herein referred to as the 'Project'). The Project generally consists of erosion and sediment control, installation of a prepackaged sanitary sewer pump station, construction of the associated force main including jack and bore casing installation for a highway crossing, associated appurtenances and site restoration upon start-up and substantial completion. The Project extends from the site of the former Narrell Tractor along the east side of Wesley Avenue to the existing system near Academic Drive. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially complete in 90 calendar days from the date that the Contract Times commence to run as indicated on the Notice to Proceed. In order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder shall possess a valid General Contractor's license for work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's license number shall be clearly indicated on the outside of sealed Bid envelopes. Bidder and its Subcontractors shall comply with all applicable licensing requirements of the Code of Alabama, federal and local Laws or Regulations. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid must accompany the bidder's proposal. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and evidence of insurance as prescribed in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are directed to the Instructions to Bidders - Document 00 21 15 and the other Bidding Documents. Bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form provided. Bidders may supplement this form as appropriate. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
