The project is expected to be awarded on July 10th. 2025.** This work consists of improving Westfall Road, beginning atthe Pickaway County line and continuing north for four (4)miles to Hickory Bend Road. The length of phases 1 and 2 areapproximately two (2) miles each. The improvements includemotor pave resurfacing and three (3) culvert replacements.The engineers estimate for the work is $630,669.00. Bidders must be an approved and pre-qualified CONTRACTOR with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)and have a current pre-qualification certificate in order to perform the work. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 ofthe Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensedin the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested there in.Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Due to project funding requirements, the project will not be awarded until on or about July 10, 2025. The owner intends and requires that this projectbe completed no later than September 15, 2025. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the projectwill to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials,services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
