This singular prequalification call will be for restoration and rehabilitation of heritage exterior stonemasonry inclusive of the following; o Cleaning o Repointing o Repairs o Conservation of sculptures o Stone removal and reinstatement as required o Window modifications, for various packages including but not limited to the packages listed below: - West, Center & East Courtyards - South Facade - Roof penthouses, parapets, and chimneys. The Scopes of Work will be further detailed in the tenders to Bidders who successfully prequalify. The Work may be packaged as the CM and PSPC determine is best for the project. PCL/ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager (CM), is inviting proponents to submit their Statement of Qualifications to prequalify to bid as a specialist exterior heritage stone restoration Subcontractor, whose team has both the experience and capacity to successfully provide the dismantle/rebuild, sculpture conservation, cleaning, repair and repointing of the exterior stonemasonry at Centre Block. The project is located at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. The approximate construction dollar values of anticipated scopes of work will vary. For the purposes of this prequalification and the mandatory bonding requirements noted at 6.7.1, bidders may submit their (1) Statement of Qualification for any combination of the following: - Prequalification Package 1064 A - CB Exterior Heritage Masonry Restoration and Conservation for projects values at up to $5M; and/or - Prequalification Package 1064 B - CB Exterior Heritage Masonry Restoration and Conservation for projects values at up to $10M; and/or - Prequalification Package 1064 C - CB Exterior Heritage Masonry Restoration and Conservation for projects values at up to $25M. The Construction Manager, at their sole discretion, reserve the right to waive informalities, accept any SOQ that it deems responsive, or may reject any or all SOQs received in response to this RFQ.
