As of July 11,2025 project was awarded to Midwest utility contracting - 697,605 and Caldwell TENKS -1,750,400 with the total amount of $2,448,005 ** The Scope of Work includes construction of a new 1,000,000 gallon ground water storage tank including foundations, tank erection, interior piping, tank painting, and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. The Scope of Work includes the installation of approximately 912 lineal feet of 12" diameter C900 DR14 R.J. Water Main, a 15' long x 10' wide concrete flow control valve vault, restraints, hydrants, fittings, general sitework and grading, and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The PWSD No. 3 of Jefferson County anticipates issuing notice to proceed in August 2025. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in this specification. When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962," (P.L. 87-581: 76 Stat. 357) and implementing regulations. The PWSD No. 3 of Jefferson County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
