Site work and paving for a civil project in Fenton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The proposed work includes improving the safety for motorists traveling along Saline Road from Northwest Boulevard to 1925 Saline Road, near Memory Lane. The following improvements will be added along Saline Road: 4 shoulders, center and edge rumble strips, guardrail where warranted, enhanced warning signs, and the extension of three box culverts. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2025 Edition. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A cashiers check or bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. A certificate of insurance shall be submitted with each proposal. All bids shall be made on the forms provided. Three (3) copies of the bid must be submitted, one (1) being original inked. Jefferson County, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, with MoDOT concurrence. The DBE goal for this project is 7%.
