Description

Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Douglasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

For the design, permitting, site preparation and construction of the new Douglas County Fire/EMS Department Training Building located All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Board of Commissioners of Douglas County in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the Bid for the complete work. A required performance bond is to be 100% of the contract amount and a required payment bond is to be 100% of the contract amount. There is a minimum 15% DBE participation goal required on this contract. Question Deadline 06/16/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Prospective Proposers must submit any questions regarding this solicitation Electronically The tentative project milestones are: 1. Project starts late Summer 2025 2. Substantial completion by late Spring 2026 The initial contract term shall be one (1) year from the date of execution however; contract year shall follow the calendar year. The contract may be renewed for three (3) additional one (1) calendar year periods Douglas County reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, to evaluate bids, to accept portions of any bid, and to accept any bid, which in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the County.
