Online Q&A Yes Question Deadline 07/08/2025 at 2:00 PM PT The Clubhouse Z3 Pressure Reducing Station (PRS) facility has experienced severe corrosion due to the damp underground environment within the existing vault. In addition, operating the facility and performing repairs has been a challenge since the PRS is approximately 9 feet below grade. The entrance of the PRS Vault is through a small 36-inch round manhole lid. The entry manhole lid is located within the roadway, which requires traffic control when entering the facility. To rehabilitate the corroded equipment within the PRS vault, the District has designed the new facility to be above grade, and away from the roadway. Therefore, reducing corrosion and providing greater accessibility to equipment.
