**As of July 22, 2025, the project was awarded to Wysong Construction but the awarded amount is not available.** Questions regarding RFPQ #334 Measure C-22 Baywood Elementary New Campus Contract at Baywood Elementary School may be directed in writing only to the Facilities Analyst II, Kelly Lee, at klee@slcusd.org, and must be submitted no later than June 16, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Prequalification applications are available on the PQ Bids website located online. A proposal submitted by a Contractor that is not fully approved as prequalified will not be accepted and will not be considered by the District. To be fully approved as prequalified for the Contract, prequalification must be completed no later than 10:00 a.m., on June 20, 2025. The district plans to replace fourteen (14) permanent classrooms and six (6) portable classrooms with fourteen (14) permanent classrooms located on a smaller footprint with additional space reserved for a new wing of four (4) classrooms should additional classroom space be necessary in the future. The new drop-off and pick-up area will be located on 11th street, next to the new front office. The new parking lot is anticipated to be of a comparable six to the existing parking lot being replaced and will include eight (8) parking spaces with electric vehicle charging capability. The project is located at Baywood Elementary School, 1330 9th Street, Los Osos, San Luis Obispo County, California. The district is soliciting proposals for the construction of the Work. The district has retained RRM Design of San Luis Obispo, California, as its architect for the Contract ("Architect"). DSA approval of the plans and specifications for the Contract has not yet been issued but will be obtained after award of the Lease-Leaseback Agreement. Any preconstruction services in the Lease-Leaseback Agreement may be performed before DSA approval, but the Work may not commence until DSA approval is received by the District, all preconstruction services are complete, the subcontractors are selected, and the Total Sublease Amount is approved by the District's governing board.
