Quotes for Purchase of 4 (Four) Hydrogen Gas Coolers for Unit 8 Generator at the Lon D Wright Power Plant. The Lon D. Wright Power Plant consists of three generating units. All three units are pulverized coal / natural gas steam generating units. The hydrogen coolers to be purchased are associated with Unit 8 rated at 91.5 MW. Unit 8 is a GE tandem compound unit, normal operating pressure 1800psi, Main steam and reheat steam temp 1000F. The turbine is a Reheat, Single-flow exhaust Double Casing Unit GE Serial # 197630 The generator is a 95,000 KVA, 13,800V, Hydrogen Cooled generator with static exciter.GE Serial # 161X722 Ensure hydrogen gas coolers at a minimum meets original design specifications and performance. Coolers will be provided with all required gaskets. Provide 4 (Four) complete hydrogen cooler assemblies manufactured with 100% new materials and complete in every way. Coolers will be tested to manufacturers recommended press. and provide test results. Coolers will be emptied before shipment. Each cooler will be boxed separately for shipment in wooden boxes designed to be reused and protect the coolers during shipment.
