The City of Sandersville, Georgia is soliciting bids for the demolition of the building located at 114 Gilmore Street in downtown Sandersville. Qualified bidders may obtain bid information by contacting the Purchasing Agent. All requests for additional information must be submitted in writing by email to Purchasing Agent Travis Fort at tfort@sandersvillega.org . Responses and addendums will posted on the City's website at www.sandersville.net under DEMOLITION AND SALVAGE PROJECT. For bid packages and questions, please contact Travis Fort at (478)552-2525. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked BULIDING DEMOLITION PROJECT (if you are shipping your sealed bid, the shipping envelope must also be clearly marked) The City of Sandersville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Work with the City to coordinate the schedule for demolition, disposal, and removals. B. During demolition, disposal and removal, use all procedures necessary to assure that no portion of the structure, either that to be removed or to remain, becomes a hazard to persons by instability or other condition. C. Notify all local, state, and federal agencies having jurisdiction and complete all necessary forms required for demolition and disposal. D. Demolition and removal shall be performed in a manner that will not disturb existing pavement, utilities, structures, and other facilities not indicated to be removed.
