Use equipment of a size that will not impact adjacent concrete, pavement, or lawn areas 2. Saw cut the existing concrete as necessary to perform new work 3. All removed concrete should be hauled and taken to a local recycling plant 4. Grade and compact all sub-base under removed existing concrete walk areas as required upon field inspection 5. All new concrete placed that abuts existing pavers shall be formed under no circumstances should new concrete be placed directly against existing brick pavers 6. All new concrete shall be 6" thick w/ fiber mesh reinforcing. Welded wire fabric is an allowed substitution if fiber mesh is cost prohibitive 7. All new concrete to receive tooled expansion joint and control joints 8. A curing/sealer to be roller applied (not sprayed) to all new concrete 9.
