Reference Number 0000385419 The City of Monroe, Michigan is currently soliciting proposals from landscape architecture and engineering firms to develop a schematic design for a proposed Greenway Trail in the City of Monroe's Orchard East neighborhood. The "Orchard East Greenway Trail" should connect the existing Orchard East neighborhood into the City of Monroe's River Raisin Heritage Trail and other regional trails while incorporating features present in the connecting trails. The primary objective of design should be to have the trail serve as a foundation for increasing pride and quality of life in the Orchard East neighborhood. Project funding for this early stage planning is being provided by the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.
