Construction Management Services for Shuman Juvenile Detention Center Renovation Phase 2. Questions Due Date: Jun 25th 2025, 3:00 PM EDT The County of Allegheny ("the County") is seeking the services of a professional Construction Management Firm to provide professional Construction Management services in support of the renovation of the Shuman Detention Center - Phase 2. The building was originally constructed in the early 1970s and has remained a juvenile detention facility throughout the years. Electrical system upgrades were made in 2012. In 2021, operations ceased. However, after a partial renovation occurred in 2023-2024, limited services returned, and Shuman Center reopened in mid2024 to serve up to twelve (12) juveniles. The work covered under this RFP will expand upon those renovations, increasing the capacity of the building to sixty (60) juveniles and covering all necessary support functions within the building.
