Renovation of a multi-residential development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

SCOPE OF WORK: The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (hereinafter referred to as "HACP"), is a federally funded public housing agency. The Housing Authority maintains over 2500 units of rental housing. HACP is issuing this Invitation for Bids ("IFB") for qualified and interested business firms to submit sealed bids to provide Tub Surround Installation Authority Wide and other related work requested by HACP in accordance with Attachment 1 and 2, titled "Bid Sheet and "Specifications." The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh seeks proposals from persons or organizations qualified to provide Tub Surround Installation Authority Wide. Question Deadline 06/19/2025 at 10:00 AM ET (For Questions Only) Brandon.Havranek@hacp.org Contract will follow the below tub surround installation process and procedure: a) Demo and remove existing wall tile or current surround and caulking b) Remove any damaged drywall behind area of new surround c) If needed, install studs around wall to attach surround d) Install blue board or wonder board on walls e) Install sectional tub surround f) Patch, repair, and paint damaged walls around new surround g) Re-caulk entire perimeter of bathtub and as needed h) Paint touch-up, as needed, with mold and mildew resistant paint i) Re-install plumbing fixtures and grab bars; install new items as needed j) Any/All materials are to be removed by contractor and areas should be left clean of dust, materials, and debris k) Work area to be left in a clean and safe condition l) No debris to be placed in HACP trash receptacles m) All work will be scheduled by a Senior Project Manager in Facility Services n) Scheduled work must be completed in three (3) days o) Work to be completed during regular business hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM p) Residents will be properly notified of the schedule, access and installation q) Contractor will not move any furniture or belongings r) Contractor will provide MSDS and adhere to recommendations and proper use of products s) Contractor is responsible for obtaining any required permits t) Contractor will have resources to complete the project within a 15-day period of call to schedule work. u) HACP will provide some materials. Contractor must obtain materials from HACP stock first. All materials furnished by the Contractor, for use in this contract, must be approved by HACP.
