Project includes public roadway pavement slurry seal; work zone traffic control; and final cleanup required to complete construction. Project locations include portions of the base bid: Charles Street, N. Water Street, and Gateway Court; and portions of the alternate bids: Heritage Way, Hamilton Street, and Center Street, within the City of Columbus Construction time is of the essence. Contractor shall perform and substantially complete all required Work on or before September 30, 2025. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The City of Columbus reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Contractor shall, prior to the commencement of Work: 1. Execute Agreement. 2. Furnish to the City a Performance Bond in an amount at least equal to their Bid as security for the faithful performance of all of Contractor's obligations. This bond shall remain in effect until one year after the date when final payment becomes due except as provided otherwise by Laws or Regulations. 3. Contractor shall provide to City written proof of the following insurance coverages: Commercial General Liability of $2,000,000 combined single limit, annual aggregated for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage; and with a minimum of $1,000,000. b. Automobile liability of $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident for bodily injury and property damage. c. Worker compensation limits as required by the State of Wisconsin. d. Contractor shall provide submittals in accordance with the General Conditions as modified by the Supplementary Conditions, and this Section. 2. Provide submittals well in advance of need for the material or equipment, or procedure (as applicable), in the Work and with ample time required for delivery of material or equipment and to implement procedures following Engineer's approval or acceptance of the associated submittal. Work covered by a submittal will not be included in progress payments until approval or acceptance of related submittals has been obtained in accordance with the Contract Documents. 3. Contractor is responsible to confirm dimensions at the Site, make necessary corrections, for information pertaining solely to the fabrication processes and to techniques of construction, and for coordinating the work of all trades. Contractor's signature on submittal's stamp and letter of transmittal shall be Contractor's representation that Contractor has met his obligations under the Contract Documents relative to that submittal.
