Work covered by Contract Documents is to be performed under a single prime contract, which includes all sections of Specifications. Project also includes replacement of a motor control center and associated electrical. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bids must be submitted through QuestCDN.com using the online electronic bid service. To submit a bid, download the project bid document file from QuestCDN, which will add you to the plan holders list and give access to online bidding. To demonstrate qualifications to perform the work, within five days of the Owner's request, bidders must submit written evidence of qualifications. Bids must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Columbus Utilities in the amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price, in the form of a certified check or an electronic bid bond issued by a qualified surety. A copy of the bid security must be uploaded to QuestCDN.com, and the original must be delivered within 48 hours after close of bid. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. Columbus Utilities reserves the right to accept the most advantageous bid or to reject any and all bids. Award of work is subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes.
