The Township of Ear Falls is posting this tender for the resurfacing of two Reactivator Tanks including their steel components (rakes and mixing chambers). The Reactivators are located at the Water Treatment Plant, located at 81 Highway 657 in Ear Falls, Ontario. A complete Scope of Work is attached. The Ear Falls Water Treatment Plant (WTP) provides safe drinking water for the Township of Ear Falls. It was built in 1976 for the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and in the early 1990s the ownership was transferred to the Township of Ear Falls. Two Reactivators (aka Clarifiers), inside the heated WTP, are used to treat the water. They can be independently isolated but one must always be operational to provide safe drinking water to the community. They are welded steel tanks 25 feet in diameter, 14.5 feet high, sitting on a concrete base. Documents can be obtained at: https://ear-falls.com/business/tenders/
