Description: SRMT is requesting proposals from Qualified Contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, plant, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to furnish and install Option #1, directional drill installation of approximately 4,200 LF of 8" HDPE DR11 watermain pipe via directional drill method or Option #2, direct bury method of approximately 4,200 LF of 8"C900 PVC watermain pipe; all options will include five (5) new water service connections, connection to the existing watermain, fracturing and removal of rock, as needed and all required final restoration, with alternates and more particularly identified in the Proposal Documents. A pre-proposal/bid meeting is being held for this project on Thursday, June 12, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Planning & Infrastructure Boardroom, 2817 State Route 95, Bombay, NY. A site visit will be held immediately after closing of the pre-proposal/bid meeting. Although there are no current COVID-19 Mandatory Restrictions, SRMT has enacted the Respiratory Virus Safety Policy (V011, March 2024) and all Contractors, Sub-Contractors and any employees are required to take the necessary measures to protect themselves and those around them in accordance with this policy. Any individuals showing symptoms of respiratory virus as stated in this policy will be required to wear a mask. The Owner will not reimburse any proponent for expenses associated with any site visit.
