PROJECT DESCRIPTION This is a federally assisted contract and therefore is subject to 49 CFR Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs. The project entails rehabilitation or reconstructing about 7-miles of airport owned and maintained roadways varying in width dimension. The scope of this project also entails performing repairs to 9 bridges throughout the terminal roadway system. Bridge repairs vary from crack sealing, joint repair, to spall repair. Repairs are also proposed to the Terminal 1 concrete payment bays at the departures curb and per capita drive isles. Repairs to Terminal 3 concrete speed bumps are also part of the scope. Roadway striping and surface markings will be restored for impacted segments of roadway. The proposed Contract is under and subject to Executive Order 11246, as amended, of September 24, 1965, and to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Federal Labour Provisions. Bonds Notes ; The "Bid Guarantee" shall consist of a firm commitment such as a Bid Bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument accompanying a Bid as assurance that the Bidder will, upon acceptance of his Bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required within the time specified. The successful Bidder agrees to furnish a performance bond for 100 percent of the Contract price. This bond is one that is executed in connection with a Contract to secure fulfilment of all the Bidder's obligations under such Contract.
