The Town of Allenstown is accepting bids for a three-year contract to clean catch basins, with an option to renew the contract for an additional three years. There are approximately 160 basins that are to be cleaned annually. All catch basin materials that are collected are to be transported to the Highway Department located at 161 Granite Street and be disposed of by the Town. Bid will be a lump sum for a three-year period. If you have any questions, please contact the Road Agent, Chad Pelissier at the Highway Department at 603-485-5460. The Contractor shall enclose with their bid a proof of insurance certificate, with limits of coverage at a minimum of general liability - $1,000,000; automobile liability - combined single loss limit (CSL) of $1,000,000 and evidence of worker's compensation coverage. The same limits of coverage shall be required for all subcontractors to be utilized. If both parties agree to the terms. The existing contract may be extended for three years with Selectboard approval. The Town of Allenstown reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and award the bid in the best interest of the Town of Allenstown.
