The Town of Allenstown, New Hampshire (Town) invites qualified concrete contractors (Contractor) to submit sealed proposals for the installation of the structural foundation for a proposed 80’ x 120’ pre-engineered metal building SCOPE OF SERVICES: The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required or the complete and proper installation of the building foundation in the location stipulated on the Site Plan. The scope of work for this contract shall include but is not limited to: 1. Coordination: Contractor shall meet with the Town to inspect Site grading and preparation to ensure satisfactory pre-mobilization conditions, prior to mobilization. 2. Footing & Foundation Wall Installation: a. Form and pour footings and foundation walls with accurate dimensions and alignment as dictated in the foundation plan, formwork to meet ACI standards; b. Install steel rebar as specified in the foundation plan; and c. Pour and finish concrete with proper curing. Mix design to match specifications outlined in the foundation plan. 3. Inspections: Coordinate inspections by the Town prior to placement of concrete for both the footings/piers and the foundation walls. 4. Clean-up & Site Restoration: Contractor to remove all excess concrete debris and restore Site to pre-construction conditions. 5. Submittals: Contractor shall provide submittals for approval by the Town for materials to be used in conjunction with the execution of work. 6. Contract Timeframe: The selected Contractor shall plan to complete all foundation installation work within 60 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, unless otherwise directed by the Town.
